Not for the faint hearted or for those who suffer in the cold, but a variety of experiences that you’d be hard pushed to find provided with more enthusiasm and care. From the night in the “teepee” on top of reindeer skins, through the journey to their wonderful Wilderness Hut to the 50km day trips through stunning scenery, the whole thing was unforgettable. We were entrusted with 4 dogs each and taught how to feed, harness and drive them safely, all the time being sustained by fantastic food cooked by both of our hosts. One of those weeks you will never forget - thoroughly recommended!! read less

Thanks to great hosts Jordana, Kent, the 2 little boys and the friendly guides this trip was a once in a life time experience. The trails are magical and the dogs very well trained. These people run their business with passion for dogs and nature. I was able to see the northern lights which made this trip to wonderfull Lapland unforgettable. I hope to go back soon to Husky Tours Lapland because that is the place to be! read less

Followed up with feeding and unharnesding the dogs, hot drinks in a teepee with a raging fire and a visit with the puppies. Bevin from Australia made it all go very smoothly and there was no limit to the number of questions he answered. Our #1 activity in Scandinavia though the restaurants in Copenhagen are close. read less

No matter if you want to mush “drive” your own sled or you want to sit back and ride you will have “The Ride of your life”. The dogs are all amazing and just want to run, they are very well looked after and you can see the care and love they get from all the handlers. It really is a memorable experience. read less

Although the snow wasn't thick enough to do snow shoe hiking (luckily), we had plenty to do. The guides would stop at different areas to introduce the environment to us and we barbecued marshmallows and got to drill our own holes for ice fishing. We ended the tour with a visit to the kennel with the puppies and a warm lunch by the fire in a tent. The guides were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend them read less

Jordana and Kent are in their best when they wholeheartet take you along on the trails. Running the Troll-carts with the dogs are a experience hard to describe, you have to trie it. Cant wait to be back in the winter to run a sleddogteam :-)

Well organized, starting with punctual pick-up at Kiruna Tourist Center, we were provided with nice warm clothes which were really necessary, considering the cold wind you are exposed to on the dogsled.
I was lucky enough to be given the front seat during all the trip, because the other participants preferred to sit in the more protected places behind me - but for me it was the best position to enjoy the ride, I could basically forget there was anyone behind be, it felt as if I were alone with the dogs and the nature!
The trail was great and lonely, the snack break at the teepee unique and very welcome and gave us time to talk to the mushers a while, who were very willing to share their experiences. We also had enough time to cuddle the Huskies.
The dogs are really well cared for, and I particularly enjoyed watching them in their element, the snowy cold, doing what they were bred for and what they love: running and pulling! It was a strong experience, and I admire these beautiful animals, their strength and their endurance.
I am really thankful for this unique and wonderful experience! read less

We were... read moreWe were taken to the huskies and watched them being hitched up. They were desperate to get going. We were talked through what we had to do and we were off. So much fun being the passenger and half way we stopped to swap and I then became the driver. Even more fun. We stopped for lunch in a small wooden hut. We had a delicious soup and Swedish bread and cheese.
We then went snowshoe walking and our guide talked us through the wild life which was very informative.
A brilliant trip and one to be recommended!!! read less

I love that she has such great personality and knowledge about what she does. No doubt that it is a business, she has such great heart for her dogs and her passion to ride with her dogs. All dogs were so happy seeing her bringing use around for the kennel tour. It didnt feel like it was a commercialised tour but rather a friend who brought us around and introduced us to dog sledding and racing. She debunked most stigma around the use of dogs for sledding. Those doggos cant wait to go for the next ride out! We got to enter and played with a few puppies. They were a bundle of joy!!

After which we sat around a fire with birch firewood brewed tea. It was quite an experience for city dwellers like myself. read less

Up close and personal with the huskies before and after an exhilarating trek through the stunning landscape, we learned all about their life both providing a real visitor experience for the likes of us , and competing in long races facing international competition.
