Wat geweldig om zo in de natuur bezig te zijn. Er is veel aandacht voor de honden. Elke hond is uniek. We hebben een hondenslee tour gedaan van 3 uur (alleen met 5 honden) en één van 1,5 uur (op familie slee). Geweldig mooi en heerlijk rustig. We mochten de honden zelf aanlijnen. Ook zijn we met sneeuwscooters op pad geweest; leuk om te doen! We hebben icefishing gedaan (en vis gevangen) en het noorderlicht gezien. Wow! Huskytours maakt het heel bijzonder voor je. It’s a once in a life time experience and this particular company will go out of their way to make it memorable. You will get so much more than just a ride in a sled! The team caring for the dogs are knowledgeable, passionate and caring. You get to meet the dogs, understand how they are fed and cared for, their names and histories and pedigrees. Then you get suited up in immaculately clean and well maintained snow gear- chosen for you by the knowledgeable team. Your sled ride is like something out of a story book, from the reindeer skin thrown over the wooden sled for comfort, to the picturesque ride through the snow you and your +1 would take. You will end it with a roaring fire and a much needed cup of tea or coffee. This is really the stuff of dreams! read less

The guides we're friendly, enthusiastic and answered all our questions about the company, the dogs and the area.
Half way there was time to cuddle the dogs, make pictures and enjoy a hot coffee.

And the most important thing for me: the dogs are very well treated. The company is relatively small and every guide has its own team. They know all the personalities of the dogs and take very good care of them.

Thanks again for the amazing experience!
I would definitely recommend this company for anyone who's looking for a worry free dogsled tour with happy dogs! read less

We had a very timely pick-up from camp Ripan and after a comfortable drive arrived at the home and camp of Jordana and Kent who, together with their staff welcomed us and quickly made us feel very welcome. After changing into warm overalls and boots we had some time to explore the kennels and pet the dogs and puppies. Then their was an explanation of how to ride the sleighs and off we went for a 45 KM trip through the most amazing scenery posible! Kent developed an excellent trail that shower us the most beautiful natural scenery and we even spotted some wildlife! Half-way through the tour we stopped for lunch. Jordana made a fire which we could sit around and enjoy home cooked tortillas and warm drinks. We also fed the dogs and after 1,5 hours we continued our tour for the second part of the day. Highly recommend to choose this company if you are going for a once in a lifetime expe read less

Well organized, starting with punctual pick-up at Kiruna Tourist Center, we were provided with nice warm clothes which were really necessary, considering the cold wind you are exposed to on the dogsled.
I was lucky enough to be given the front seat during all the trip, because the other participants preferred to sit in the more protected places behind me - but for me it was the best position to enjoy the ride, I could basically forget there was anyone behind be, it felt as if I were alone with the dogs and the nature!
The trail was great and lonely, the snack break at the teepee unique and very welcome and gave us time to talk to the mushers a while, who were very willing to share their experiences. We also had enough time to cuddle the Huskies.
The dogs are really well cared for, and I particularly enjoyed watching them in their element, the snowy cold, doing what they were bred for and what they love: running and pulling! It was a strong experience, and I admire these beautiful animals, their strength and their endurance.
I am really thankful for this unique and wonderful experience! read less

Le emozioni più grandi ce le hanno infatti date gli spettacolari paesaggi,i laghi ghiacciati, i fiumi ghiacciati su cui siamo passati in sella a una tipica slitta trainata da 12 bellissimi e dolcissimi cani husky !!!! Immaginatevi di essere immersi nella natura selvaggia, di notte, su una slitta e tutto intorno a voi buio e silenzio........ sono emozioni che non si dimenticano mai!!! read less

My partner and I had so much fun greeting the dogs, even harnessing them to our own carts! We learned their names and their personalities, and that was before the trip even started! Riding on the carts was exhilarating. Our pups did such a good job running us up and down little hills and into streams. The landscape was gorgeous! We even got to meet some little puppies and hold them in our arms! Best Day! Thank you so much Jordana and team! read less

Ellos aman a los perros y esta forma de vida y trasmiten esa fantasia que hay que vivirla ,
Jordana es una gran anfitriona y fue muy facil contactar con ella ,ella habla varios idiomas y se va defendiendo con su español entre el ingles y español nos comunicamos perfectamente .
Hay un guia Belga que tambien habla español este dato lo doy porque siempre es mejor saber que puedes comunicarte algo mas )
Los perros son una pasada de guapos y buenos ,
Fuimos en un tour de 2 horas con parada a tomar un delicioso pastel hecho por ella y un cafe calentito en una tienda sami.
Ella me preparo un fuego para calentarne pues mis calcetines no estaban optimos para el frio .
Todo fue perfecto .
Ha sido una linda experiencia .
Dimos de comer a sus lindos perros .
Y la conductora nos dejo en el hotel ,este
Tour esta a media hora de Kiruna te recogen y te dejan en un punto de encuentro .
Nunca olvidare ese silencio con solo el aullido de los lindos perros .

It had just snowed so the landscape was stunning. The staff was fantastic and you could tell the dogs were very well taken care of. The ride itself was so much fun - it was so cool to be able to drive your own team! I’m not even much of a dog person (allergies) but I felt completely in love with our team of five dogs (also didn’t feel allergic at all!) They’re super friendly and playful, and it was great to also get to help feed them and put them away in their kennels at the end. One thing I’d say is be sure to dress warm! It wasn’t even a particularly cold day when we went but the 2h ride was perfect - any more and I’d have been too cold (even though I was wearing full ski gear underneath the overalls they gave us!) All in all a fantastic experience - you’ll regret it if you don’t go!! read less

The owner guided us through the kennel, telling us about the husky dogs and their life, how they are bread, what their needs are and how they behave in pack. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. Our 10-year-old daughter was allowed to choose to go into any kennel she wanted and was very excited throughout the whole visit. During the tour, we sat down for tea and cake together. The highlight was meeting a 4-day old puppy, which didn't open its eyes for the first time yet. read less
