Our Meeting Points: (pls note time stated below is our departure time. Pls be ready 5 min earlier so you don't miss the transfer).
12:30 at Camp Ripan hotel main Reception

12:50 at the Icehotel Jukkasjarvi main reception
13:10 at Husky Tours Lapland Kennel
On our overnight husky tour, we give you some warm clothes and instructions on how to drive the sled.
You drive your own team of 4 dogs. We will mush around 27 kms on a varied home groomed trail to our wilderness lodge. Upon arrival we take care of our dogs first. We unharness them and give them all a house. We give the dogs a snack and then settle into the lodge. Before we enjoy our own home cooked meal we feed the dogs.
In the evening you can walk onto the frozen lake and hopefully the aurora borealis will show!
The following morning we feed the dogs and pack up. You harness your own dogs and get the team ready to mush back to the kennel. We cover approx 18 kms. At the kennel we give the dogs a snack, unharness them and say our goodbyes. We take you back to Kiruna/Icehotel.

Followed up with feeding and unharnesding the dogs, hot drinks in a teepee with a raging fire and a visit with the puppies. Bevin from Australia made it all go very smoothly and there was no limit to the number of questions he answered. Our #1 activity in Scandinavia though the restaurants in Copenhagen are close. read less

Jordana was a wonderful guide and her enthusiasm really rubbs off! You can expect magnificent Lapland views in a winter wonderland. Die Tour war wunderschön, wir hatten einen super Guide und die Hunde waren zutraulich, gut gepflegt und bester Laune. Wir durften jeder (4 Personen) unseren eigenen Schlitten mit je 4 Hunden steuern und fahren. Das war ein großartiges Erlebnis in mitten der nordschwedischen Natur. Sehr empfehlenswert - insbesondere mit Übernachtung in der abgelegenen Cabin. Hier gibt es auch noch eine tolle kleine Sauna. Thanks to Evan! read less

The people and dogs were all fantastic, and I don't think you can find any better surroundings for day trips. The winter landscape shifted from narrow passages through forest and open expansions across lakes, disturbed only by our own tracks and wildlife. We were lucky enough to have clear skies and got to see a spectacular light show as aurora borealis graced us with her presence. We've already started planning for our return next year. read less

Great fun - a bit like a real life Disney ride. They love their dogs and provide warm clothing if you don’t have it. The suits and boots from Icehotel were perfect. Sledding in the wilderness with trees flying by just a few meters away was an experience to remember. read less
