Jordana was such an amazing host, with home baked cake and its obvious she loves her dogs and what she does. Highly recommend anyone coming to kiruna to come and visit Husky tours! Le prêt de combinaison et de bottes est un plus, tout comme le petit goûter dans le tipi.

Our guide Lisa was fantastic explaining us how to ride the dogsled, what to keep in mind and about her work days. We got close with every husky, fed them after our tour and cuddled them. There were also super friendly little puppies - all dogs have been very very friendly and super excited for their tour. We will definitely recommend to book a tour and enjoy some of the best hours you will have in Lapland. read less

The all team (including the dogs ;) ) is really welcoming and friendly. Our guide (Théo) was answering all our questions and was really enthusiastic. It was even better than I expected, and I was not disappointed at any point!
The nature as well as the dogs were so beautiful. We even got the chance to cuddle the little puppies at the end of the ride which made the experience greater!!!
An important thing to mention is that the dogs are very well treated and the guides take really good care of them!
This incredible adventure is simply unforgettable and I highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Kiruna.
I already miss the dogs and definitely want to come back soon for a longer trip and hopefully with some Nothern lights next time. read less

We had booked a Northern Lights Husky Dog Sled Tour but due to lack of snow in Lapland this year... read moreWe had booked a Northern Lights Husky Dog Sled Tour but due to lack of snow in Lapland this year this wasn't possible on our booked date. Husky Tours emailed us a few days before our booked date to let us know and to offer us an alternative of a Husky Dog Tour with carts which we could drive ourselves if we wanted to!
We stuck with our booking and had great fun driving a Husky pulled cart through the moonlit forest. It was an exhilarating ride which left us with big grins on our faces!
As well as the carting, we also got to water and feed the dogs and help unharness them after the circuits around the forest.
The Husky Tours crew were all very nice, welcoming and helpful. They all displayed their great knowledge and passion about the dogs. Instruction on how to drive the carts was clearly given
We finished off with fika around the open fire when we could ask anything we wanted about the huskies and how they are looked after.
I believe this is the only company in the area that will offer this alternative of using carts rather than sleds due to lack of snow. Don't let this put you off. It's a great experience and a whole lot of fun.
We didn't get to see the Northern Lights on this occasion but perhaps we only had ourselves to blame as we didn't ask Anna to do her Northern Lights dance for us! 😀 read less

Se hace una parada en el medio de la ruta para hacer un Fika (té o café acompañado por un bollito típico sueco, kanelbulle). The dogs were brilliant and gave us the trip of a lifetime. The company runs a smooth operation with pick up in Kiruna, dressing us warmly at the camp and then providing a cup of tea and cinnamon scroll at a tipee, where we stopped to enjoy the very best nature can provide. After an easy and precise communication via whatsapp we booked a pre-season tour, that included a pick up in Kiruna... read moreAfter an easy and precise communication via whatsapp we booked a pre-season tour, that included a pick up in Kiruna as well as driving our own sleds. We were picked up on time and drove out to the Kennel where we met our guide as well as the dogs. Before starting we were outfitted with proper clothing to keep us warm. We then got to get one team ready ourselves which was a great experience, as we got to find out how the harness etc works. Before taking off we got a short and sufficient intro into the sled and how the stearing, braking etc works. We could already tell the dogs were very excited and eager to go for the run, because as soon as our guide got to her sled they were ready and starting to pull. We rode about 10km in almost an hour and had a great time, riding through the forest and along the creak. When it started lightly snowing it was just perfect! After returning to the camp, we fed and unharnessed the dogs before sitting down by a small bonfire, having some coffee, tea and homemade cake (don't miss the cake, it's amazing!). Jordana took a lot of time explaining us how they take care of the dogs, train them etc. The dogs are very well behaved and also well fed and treated with a lot of respect and care! After a walk through the Kennel and an introduction to the puppies (including some cuddling) we got driven back to Kiruna. Our guide was very accommodating to all in the group and everyone was catered for. His knowledge of the area and the local wildlife was very informative. The food at the cabin, where we stayed, was very good and there was plenty to eat. We even had the thrill of seeing the Northern Lights while standing on a frozen lake a truly unforgettable sight (although this is not guaranteed we were very lucky).
If you want to go dogsledding this is definitely the company to go with.

We were... read moreWe were taken to the huskies and watched them being hitched up. They were desperate to get going. We were talked through what we had to do and we were off. So much fun being the passenger and half way we stopped to swap and I then became the driver. Even more fun. We stopped for lunch in a small wooden hut. We had a delicious soup and Swedish bread and cheese.
We then went snowshoe walking and our guide talked us through the wild life which was very informative.
A brilliant trip and one to be recommended!!! read less
