It’s a once in a life time experience and this particular company will go out of their way to make it memorable. You will get so much more than just a ride in a sled! The team caring for the dogs are knowledgeable, passionate and caring. You get to meet the dogs, understand how they are fed and cared for, their names and histories and pedigrees. Then you get suited up in immaculately clean and well maintained snow gear- chosen for you by the knowledgeable team. Your sled ride is like something out of a story book, from the reindeer skin thrown over the wooden sled for comfort, to the picturesque ride through the snow you and your +1 would take. You will end it with a roaring fire and a much needed cup of tea or coffee. This is really the stuff of dreams! read less

A beautiful location, wonderful dogs, and terrific staff. Holding the puppies was a special treat. As I said, I just couldn't be more pleased. read less

Jordana es una gran anfitriona y fue muy facil contactar con ella ,ella habla varios idiomas y se va defendiendo con su español entre el ingles y español nos comunicamos perfectamente .
Hay un guia Belga que tambien habla español este dato lo doy porque siempre es mejor saber que puedes comunicarte algo mas )
Los perros son una pasada de guapos y buenos ,
Fuimos en un tour de 2 horas con parada a tomar un delicioso pastel hecho por ella y un cafe calentito en una tienda sami.
Ella me preparo un fuego para calentarne pues mis calcetines no estaban optimos para el frio .
Todo fue perfecto .
Ha sido una linda experiencia .
Dimos de comer a sus lindos perros .
Y la conductora nos dejo en el hotel ,este
Tour esta a media hora de Kiruna te recogen y te dejan en un punto de encuentro .
Nunca olvidare ese silencio con solo el aullido de los lindos perros .

By the hospitality of these amazing people who know what they are doing, and clearly have a lot of love for their dogs and their beautiful surroundings, by the fact that they make and maintain their own trails and in general by the love we felt during our stay. Kent, Jordana, the kids and all the guides really go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Emozionante giro con la slitta in un ambiente incontaminato Sebbene avessimo prenotato un "Sit & Drive Combo Tour" e dato che eravamo 2 adulti e 2 bambini, ci sono... read moreSebbene avessimo prenotato un "Sit & Drive Combo Tour" e dato che eravamo 2 adulti e 2 bambini, ci sono state fornite 2 slitte in cui entrambi gli adulti guidavano per seguire la slitta della guida.
Abbiamo fatto circa 18km di percorso in 1ora e mezza in un ambiente ovattato e lontano da tutto ma non sono previste soste per foto per immortalare il momento.
Alla fine abbiamo dato da mangiare ai cani, li abbiamo slegati e accompagnati nei loro recinti. Abbiamo fatto una merenda con dolcetti e bevande calde davanti al fuoco.
Abbiamo avuto la possibilità di giocare con i cuccioli di cane.
Siamo stati lì tra Natale e Capodanno e in totale abbiamo speso circa 500€ in 4 ma tutta la Lapponia ha prezzi elevati. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, l'esperienza merita e lo consigliamo, soprattutto a famiglie con bambini. read less

Changed into overalls, and were taken on husky sledge ride (30mins), before stopping for some snacks. Overall experience was good, however it would have been better if there were more dogs driving us (as some other companies had 8 dogs per sledge)... there were only 6 dogs driving our sledge, and didn’t run too fast (vs the other sledge in front of us). Overall was alright, experience could be improved read less

We had an amazing time at -26 degrees & blue sky!
Great dogs, excellent hospitality, living in the wild rual surrounding ... no electricity, no running water. BUT lots of coziness and you get very quickly back to what really matters. The little cabin is wonderful. Filled with lots of love. the fireplace .. the food Joanna prepared. Who had expected pancakes for breakfast?!?!
... for some of you great for others unfortunately - the internet works in this part of the world. So if you like to switch of entirely... use the switch off button.

I first decided on this dogsledding tour... read moreFrom start to finish, Husky Tours Lapland was a pleasure to deal with. I first decided on this dogsledding tour operator because they were the only company that was open to having our 1 year old and 3 year old on the sled! They really embrace the whole family and focused on the children throughout the tour. We chose the “Sit back and Relax morning tour”. We were picked up on time (actually the driver was there early!) and he was a very friendly guy from France. When we arrived at the kennels, we were greeted by Jordana (owner) and Ellie (employee from the UK). Jordana and Ellie were extremely friendly and immediately focused on the kids as I mentioned earlier. They helped us into additional warmer clothing and changed our boots and mitts to something a bit warmer. We then headed out to meet the dogs and Kent (owner). Again, Kent was super friendly and helped with getting the kids on the sled. The ride was pleasant and cold (a balmy -19). The surroundings were beautiful as all the trees were covered in snow and it was quiet. Kent talked about the dogs and about the dogsled racing that he participates in. After about 20 minutes we stopped for coffee/ apple cider and some of Jordana’s home-baked sourdough blueberry squares which my kids devoured! We had lovely conversations and even met a fellow Canadian who had just started working for Jordana and Kent. After warming up by the fire, we hoped back on the sled and headed back to the kennels. The kennels are very well done and cared for; the dogs were immediately fed and attended to. It is clear that the 80 dogs are part of the family! We met the newest members of their family as Kent provided us explanations for each of their names. Our kids loved cuddling these puppy huskies and getting kisses. We were all sad to say goodbye but it was an amazing adventure and recommend it thoroughly to everyone (including families with young chi read less

The guides were also superfriendly and after the ride we were allowed to help feed and bring the huskies back in their home.
