Great personal guidance and care for guests by international owners who speak several languages.

They pick you up at the hotel in mini vans, you arrive at their premises and are fitted for cold weather gear if needed, including suits for kids and boots. You feel part of their operation as you can walk around the grounds to see the dogs, the tipi tents for coffee and cookies and perhaps even the open campfire for roasting marshmallows, while they gear up the sleighs and dogs. Or you can help them gear up, which they actually encourage to get the full experience. And the owners two, young boys (4 & 7 at the time) help with everything, great if guests have kids too. And the actual sleigh ride is absolutely stunning….!

The Dutch/Norwegian owners have travelled and lived all over the world, they understand what you want and need while on an adventurous holiday and that makes all the difference.

We were going to do... read moreIn my bucket list for sometime,sooo glad to have done this w/ Husky tours Lapland! We were going to do this while in Abisko but tours there were all booked. Started the morning @ the Tourist office where we got picked up by Levi along w/ 2other guys from Singapore. When we got to the location, Jordana helped us w/ snowsuits & boots. Levi, who was also our musher took us dogsledding. The Sunday weather was cold but sunny which made our ride enjoyable- taking in the spectacular views of the mountains, frozen lakes, sooo beautiful sceneries like in the movies! We stopped halfway & got the chance to pet the dogs & took some pictures. Then we got inside the lavvu & enjoyed our snacks in front of the fire. Levi gave us an insight into the lives of the huskies & dogsledding. Very knowledgeable guy, with good sense of humor. When we returned to the kennel, we had the opportunity to see & hold the puppies, thanks to Joel who was there to help us. The entire staff were efficient, organized & made our experience memorable. The people were so... read moreWe had the most beautiful time in the morning tour and enjoyed our tour so much!! The people were so synaptic and all dogs are so friendly. It is the best Organisation to run with cause it’s a little further out of Kiruna and you are just into the wild nature with the dog sled 🛷 absolutely worth it. You can pet the doggos and they also had puppies you could cuddle. Not too short and also with a stop at the beautiful tent with a fireplace coffee or tea and cinnamon rolls😍 DO IT! The pickup van was right on time and after 35 minutes we were at the kennel which is right by the E10 road. The dogs were very well taken care of and seemed to be enjoying their job :)

They are a... read moreIf you are looking for a company to go with I can highly recommend Husky Tours Lapland. They are a family run company and their dogs are at the heart of everything they do, which was really important to me. I was with them for 5 days as part of a Charity Challenge trip, where we spent a night in the Sami teepee hut and then the other nights were spent in the wilderness hut. Kent was our wilderness guide and he leads his team from the front and his guidance and instruction were clear and easy to understand. They do also have several other team members of different nationalities to cover several language options of their guests. Jordanna his wife always made sure everyone was well looked after and prepared the most hearty meals following a morning or afternoon of mushing. They were also so flexible with my dietary requirements as I don't eat red meat and they made sure I was well cated for. The location and trails are fabulous with forests, open plains and snow covered lakes and a wide variety of tracks and terrain to challenge you. The dogs are well cared for and clearly love their work and were so friendly. During this trip we each had out own team of 4 dogs (White Tip, Stella, Alanna and Arya) that were were responsible for, from harnessing, feeding, and cleaning up as well as pulling our sled (and boy those girls could pull). I developed quite a bond with my team and was so sorry to say goodbye. The experience was probably one of the best things I've ever done with so many amazing memories including seeing the northern lights and I do hope I'll be able to go back. Thank you so much Kent and Jordanna for everything. read less
