We have been talking... read moreThe tour started with a transfer from Kiruna to the facilities - aprox. 40minutes ride. We have been talking about the dogs along the way and since it was such a beatiful day it was a very pleasent trip. When we get there we met our guide - Hannah - which explained how to drive the sled. Then we started and she led us through this awesome ride. The track was very diverse so we could experience different scenarios in the nature along the way. At the end of the ride we sit around the fire and sipped tea and ate cinnamon rolls while the staff shared more about the dog sleading world (btw, Hannah has very good suggestions for dog names haha). Then we visited the puppies :)
Since we're the only ones in the transfer back to Kiruna, the driver left us in our hotel instead of our drop off point - which was very cool of him.
In summary it was a great afternoon - one of the highlights our trip to Kiruna. I strongly recoomend it. read less

The guides were great, super nice and friendly and the dogs were also friendly and very excited to pull the sleigh. The dogs receive a lot of love and attention.
At the end of the tour we met and cuddled 7 lovely puppies.

Loved how respectful they are of the local Sami people and how well they collaborate with them to ensure that the wildlife habitat is not disturbed because of the sledding expeditions. Im Polarwinter ist es halt dunkel... read moreWir waren über Sylvester in Kiruna und haben die Tour ab 18:00 Uhr gebucht. Im Polarwinter ist es halt dunkel - daher sieht man von der ansonsten beeindruckenden Landschaft leider nicht so viel. Beim nächsten mal würden wir daher die Tour ab 10:00 Uhr buchen.
Alle Mitarbeiter waren wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wer Hunde liebt wird begeistert sein. Es ist schon überwältigend zu erleben mit welcher Begeisterung und geradezu Gier die Hunde einen Schltten mit vier Personen + Musher durch die Wildniss ziehen können - und das über eine lange Strecke. Selbst Steigungen waren kein Problem - ein Pfiff vom Musher und die Hunde haben beschleunigt.
Die Tour haben wir als insgesamt zu kurz empfunden. Auch der Aufenthalt im "Tippi" mit Kaffee und Zimtschnecke war für mich zu knapp. Allerdings ist das natürlich nur meine persönliche EInschätzung.
Mit der zur Verfügung gestellten Bekleidung (vor allem den Stiefeln) waren die Temperaturen absolut kein Problem.
Trotzdem war es ein gelungener Abend und eine tolle Erfahrung.

Ils nous ont attribué un guide qui parlait français, ils sont venus nous chercher et nous ont ramené. Ils nous prêtent des vêtements car il fait très froid et nous conseille sur le choix des vêtements. La conduite des traîneaux est très facile. Les chiens sont adorables et bien traités. Nous avons eu l’occasion de faire le tour du chenil et de voir montrer les chiots, les chiens et traîneaux de courses après le tour.
Ce tour convient très bien pour des familles. Merci pour cette belle expérience ! read less

Jeder bekam zu Beginn warme Klamotten (Overall, Schuhe, Handschuhe, bei Bedarf auch Mütze). Unser Guide Adri hat uns am Anfang alles bestens erklärt, die 18 km lange Strecke war super, es war ein einmaliges Erlebnis einen Husky Schlitten selber zu fahren, nach der Häfte der Strecke wechselten Fahrer und Sitzender sich ab.
Nach der Fahrt gaben wir unserem Hunde-Team zu Essen und zogen das Schlittengeschirr aus.
Bei einem gemeinsamen Kaffee am Lagerfeuertand stand Adri für sämtliche Fragen offen und zeigte uns noch die 13 Wochen alten Welpen, die wir streicheln durften und Renn-Huskies sowie weitere Schlitten. read less

Husky Tours Lapland is a fine team to go on a tour with. We took the husky sled combo tour and it was perfect even in the freezing cold. Our guide was really jovial and the other staffs were all really professional and friendly. Felt really good with such congenial people. The dogs were the besr part if the tour, wish we could have more time with them. I would love to do this all over again, and with Husky Tours Lapland all over again. read less

After we were picked up from Kiruna, we started the tour by changing into warmer cloth and meeting the dogs of the sled I would be driving, they were already waiting patiently in front of the sled to start the tour. Since I was solo, I was driving the sled in front together with the guide. I first enjoyed the tour and winter wonder land by sitting on the sled, after a short stop the guide and I switched places so I could drive the sled. After the tour we helped feeding the dogs and take of there harness. We had a nice small fika inside afterwards. I wish there was a bit more time to meet the puppies/other dogs after the fika. But overall a fantastic day, definitely recommend the tour. read less

They are really so close to Kiruna center, their base and route is amazing, during dog sledding you pass through arctic forest and you feel real arctic scene as in the movies!
Their international team is so good and professional, they have almost 100 dogs that you fall in love with taking pictures with many of them!
Even after tour you have hot drinks in cabin with fire , you feed the dogs...

Exactly as they share on their website, they don’t just offer a tour, but they share a real lifetime experience. A strong statement, but we can confirm it is 100% true. Me, my wife and our 3 kids all had the pleasure to drive our own sleds with our own team of dogs and to take care of them (even our youngest son which is 9). The dogs were amazing, enthusiastic and so kind to all of us. The guides Kent (the owner) and Adrie were so experienced and knowledgeable. The wilderness cabin was so cosy and actually in the wilderness and the tour was really in the nature. During our overnight trip it was indeed just the dogs (they of course come first), us, our guides and nature (and actually also 2 moose and 1 reindeer). We’ve absolutely loved this trip. We were... read moreWe were taken to the huskies and watched them being hitched up. They were desperate to get going. We were talked through what we had to do and we were off. So much fun being the passenger and half way we stopped to swap and I then became the driver. Even more fun. We stopped for lunch in a small wooden hut. We had a delicious soup and Swedish bread and cheese.
We then went snowshoe walking and our guide talked us through the wild life which was very informative.
A brilliant trip and one to be recommended!!! read less
