The team at Husky Tours Lapland really made us feel at home. You can see that they really care for the dogs and that they and the dogs just love their job! Gliding over the snow and ice through the Swedish Lapland it just amazing. They just had new born puppies there too... they were just so cute. The guides Ben who picked us up on time & drove us out to where the adventure began was lovely and Lisa who took us out with the dogs were charming & genuine.
After being suited & booted it was off to meet the dogs, from there on in such an experience to remember. Highly recommend this company, an amazing day that I can’t forget. A huge thank you to all involved. read less

He was very knowledgeable, patient, and a lot of fun! The dogs are extremely well cared for. The lodge where you stay for the longer tours is very nice and comfortable. We did the 3 day husky trip, left around lunchtime on day 1 for a few hours ride, longer ride day 2 and back by lunchtime day 3. Experienced guide and had a sled and team of 4 dogs each. We were able to get involved with feeding and preparing the dogs which added to the experience. Spent 2 nights in a wilderness lodge with no electricity but roaring fire to keep warm and a sauna if needed. Food was good. Scenery amazing! read less

By the hospitality of these amazing people who know what they are doing, and clearly have a lot of love for their dogs and their beautiful surroundings, by the fact that they make and maintain their own trails and in general by the love we felt during our stay. Kent, Jordana, the kids and all the guides really go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
Do not hesistate and book this tour!

Les chiens sont sympa et semblent bien entretenus.
Après le tour nous avons nourri les chiens et les avons des attelés, puis thé autour d’un feu de bois et discussion sympa avec l’équipe.

The staff were very friendly and accomadating... read moreWe recently visited in Autumn and did the cart ride and kennel visit. The staff were very friendly and accomadating when it came to the shuttle bus service.
Meeting and harnessing our dog team was very fun and we got to learn about all the different jobs the dogs have and their temperaments.
The cart ride itself through the forest was a great exciting trail through an amazing landscape. After the ride we got to personally feed our own dog teams before unharnessing them and returning them back to their kennels.
We were fed traditional teas and coffee cooked on a fire while we warmed up and then got to meet more dogs and even play with the puppies.
Was a fantastic experience and i would recommend to anyone. read less

Jeg fikk en flott mottakelse av kent og jordana som hadde klargjort min ferie der.jeg fikk drifte ilag med dem med klargjøring til sesongens start med hundeslede kjøring. Vi kjørte med egne spann gjennom en fantastisk løype på 30km som hadde mye å plassere øynene på.så fikk min shiba inu jente på 3 år være med de tøffe trekkhundene.kan bare si at byfrøkena var flink. Har vært tidligere med kent på tur fra norge til sverige på 4 dagers tur der vi fikk overnatte under åpen himmel.skal man få følelsen av å måtte overleve ute i villmarka så er dette rette personer å besøke. Jeg kommer igjen når jeg blir lei av bylivets mas. read less

We had booked a Northern Lights Husky Dog Sled Tour but due to lack of snow in Lapland this year... read moreWe had booked a Northern Lights Husky Dog Sled Tour but due to lack of snow in Lapland this year this wasn't possible on our booked date. Husky Tours emailed us a few days before our booked date to let us know and to offer us an alternative of a Husky Dog Tour with carts which we could drive ourselves if we wanted to!
We stuck with our booking and had great fun driving a Husky pulled cart through the moonlit forest. It was an exhilarating ride which left us with big grins on our faces!
As well as the carting, we also got to water and feed the dogs and help unharness them after the circuits around the forest.
The Husky Tours crew were all very nice, welcoming and helpful. They all displayed their great knowledge and passion about the dogs. Instruction on how to drive the carts was clearly given
We finished off with fika around the open fire when we could ask anything we wanted about the huskies and how they are looked after.
I believe this is the only company in the area that will offer this alternative of using carts rather than sleds due to lack of snow. Don't let this put you off. It's a great experience and a whole lot of fun.
We didn't get to see the Northern Lights on this occasion but perhaps we only had ourselves to blame as we didn't ask Anna to do her Northern Lights dance for us! 😀 read less

We tried a sit and drive tour in January 2022 in our first trip to Lapland and it was such an amazing experience in such a wonderful place we almost immediately decided we must see also other seasons’ shades. So we made the crazy choice to be there again in the summer and we had the luck (thanks to cold enough weather!) to try also the summer cart tour, in which you can see how dogs are trained. With husky tours lapland you will enjoy the peace of the forest, thanks to their homemade trails, without encountering any other in your route (except from some mooses if you are lucky!). Jordana and Kent will explain you everything about dogs training and the more questions you have the more they will be happy to share their passion. The only thing I regret is not choosing to be part of longer winter tours, and surely I hope to and I will be there again one day in the future! Lapland and the huskies will steal your heart. read less

I thought that it was a tour with big groups of people but actually it was quite private (we were only 8) and it was just AMAZING!

From the pick-up to the campfire at the end of the tour everybody was sympathetic and benevolent.

The sled is easy to drive by anyone as Lisa takes the time to explain it well.
