Die Tour war wunderschön, wir hatten einen super Guide und die Hunde waren zutraulich, gut gepflegt und bester Laune. Wir durften jeder (4 Personen) unseren eigenen Schlitten mit je 4 Hunden steuern und fahren. Das war ein großartiges Erlebnis in mitten der nordschwedischen Natur. Sehr empfehlenswert - insbesondere mit Übernachtung in der abgelegenen Cabin. Hier gibt es auch noch eine tolle kleine Sauna. Thanks to Evan! read less

It was a well organized activity by good experience staffs; we did not book in advance but fortunately they manage to find a spot for us. Our trip starting from very friendly welcomed then they explained how to drive a sled dog in a very easy way to understand by an expert staff. We drove through beautiful frozen scenery then we had a good rest on a cozy seat by warm fire, just exactly right on time when I need to warm myself from an hour driving in snow. Hot tea/ coffee with cake were well prepare for us. Their dogs were very well trained and full of energy. Highly recommended for anyone who want to experience dog sledding in Kiruna. read less

Jordana was helpful even before the... read moreMe and my girlfriend went here in June and it was an amazing experience. Jordana was helpful even before the tour started by looking at the weather and suggesting different times / days where it was cooler so we could go on the husky cart ride. She wants it to be around 15c or less to take the dogs out. She also offered to refund our money if we wanted.
She picked us up and when we got there, we immediately saw how much she cares about the dogs. She knew all their names, tell you about their personalities and background. She has 94 dogs and they are all part of her family. As someone who loves animals, this made me very happy about my decision to go on this activity instead of the other husky activities I found on TripAdvisor.
I plan on coming back for a sled dog ride in the winter now that I know Lapland Husky Tours is amazing in every way.

We took turns with driving, it was great fun! We were also able to help with harnessing, unharnessing & feeding the dogs and afterwards ask all questions about the dogs & the farm that we could think of. We were also able to cuddle with all the dogs that we wanted to cuddle with.
It was a great experience & we can recommend everyone to do this tour in summer - you have a lot of time to drive & cuddle the dogs - as long as you want to. read less

Our guide Bevan was friendly and knowledgeable, as were the rest of the staff. They showed us how to kit up, feed, and care for the dogs as well as how to control the sled. The dogs themselves were clearly well trained and looked after. We loved every minute, and would certainly recommend husky tours lapland. read less

Incredible experience My sister and I went on a sit & drive combo tour at the end of January 2019. We were... read moreMy sister and I went on a sit & drive combo tour at the end of January 2019. We were picked up from the IceHotel and driven to Husky Tours where we were given all-in-one warm suits, boots, mittens, and warm hats. How to drive the sled was explained well and we could ask questions to make sure we understood. We followed our guide who had his own team of dogs so all we had to do was brake at the right time. The tour itself was an incredible way to see the beautiful landscape, and great fun. Our guide kept checking we were OK and were warm enough. Once we arrived back at the kennels, we helped feed and unharness the dogs which was a fun way to get to know our dogs a little better! After that we warmed up by a fire with tea/coffee and kanelbullar (cinnamon buns). This also gave us the chance to ask the very friendly guides about the dogs, and it seemed like they were genuinely very well cared-for. Finally, we played with some of the puppies before returning our warm outer layers and being driven back to Kiruna. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this!

My tips: Dress as warmly as possible - we were wearing our warmest clothes for northern Sweden underneath all the extra layers we were given and we were still cold! In particular, make sure you have something to cover your face and ideally, wear contact lenses rather than glasses - they'll steam up. The person sitting can take a few photos but don't expect to be able to take loads, partly because the cold is bad for camera batteries, and partly because you won't want to remove the outer mittens for long!

Dog-sledding had been a long term dream of mine and this definitely fulfilled my expectations. read less

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I wish I could remember their names so I could mention them here.
Our guide, (from Belgium), was so knowledgeable and passionate it was absolutely fascinating.
The husky driving itself was a magical journey across frozen rivers and lakes and through forests.
After we fed and unharnessed the dogs, we sat around the fire to enjoy Fika and learn more about these incredible animals.
The day was rounded off with a chance to cuddle the husky puppies. I mean, who wouldn't?!
All in all a superb experience, worth every penny. Highly recommended. read less
