The dogs, the nature and the staff contributed to make this one of the best days ever! Jordana was so helpful throughout the booking process and arranged a transfer for us from Kiruna and back. Our guide, Lisa, was very friendly and knowledgable and really set us at ease for driving the sled ourselves. It was not scary at all and I would recommend everyone to do the Combo tour. It was so much fun and so cool to steer the sled ourselves. We also helped harness the dogs beforehand, feed them and Lisa also took the time to do a kennel tour with us. The dogs are so cute and well trained. Don't give this a miss when visiting Lapland! read less

The staff were very friendly and accomadating when it came to the shuttle bus service.
Meeting and harnessing our dog team was very fun and we got to learn about all the different jobs the dogs have and their temperaments.
The cart ride itself through the forest was a great exciting trail through an amazing landscape. After the ride we got to personally feed our own dog teams before unharnessing them and returning them back to their kennels.
We were fed traditional teas and coffee cooked on a fire while we warmed up and then got to meet more dogs and even play with the puppies.
Was a fantastic experience and i would recommend to anyone. read less

Jordana was helpful even before the... read moreMe and my girlfriend went here in June and it was an amazing experience. Jordana was helpful even before the tour started by looking at the weather and suggesting different times / days where it was cooler so we could go on the husky cart ride. She wants it to be around 15c or less to take the dogs out. She also offered to refund our money if we wanted.
She picked us up and when we got there, we immediately saw how much she cares about the dogs. She knew all their names, tell you about their personalities and background. She has 94 dogs and they are all part of her family. As someone who loves animals, this made me very happy about my decision to go on this activity instead of the other husky activities I found on TripAdvisor.
I plan on coming back for a sled dog ride in the winter now that I know Lapland Husky Tours is amazing in every way.

Best trip 太棒啦！！！狗狗太可爱啦！！！狗狗很有精力好像一直跑都不会累，停下来休息的时候会哼哼唧唧撒娇一直蹭我心都化了呜呜呜呜呜T_T在雪橇上看到的风景也很棒，是我在Kiruna这几天见过最美的天空。旅途结束以后主人就给狗狗吃饭了，他们吃的很开心，感谢所有人和所有狗狗！！！

The guides were great, super nice and friendly and the dogs were also friendly and very excited to pull the sleigh. The dogs receive a lot of love and attention.
At the end of the tour we met and cuddled 7 lovely puppies.
We had a great time so I can highly recommend this tour. read less

Well organized, starting with punctual pick-up at Kiruna Tourist Center, we were provided with nice warm clothes which were really necessary, considering the cold wind you are exposed to on the dogsled.
I was lucky enough to be given the front seat during all the trip, because the other participants preferred to sit in the more protected places behind me - but for me it was the best position to enjoy the ride, I could basically forget there was anyone behind be, it felt as if I were alone with the dogs and the nature!
The trail was great and lonely, the snack break at the teepee unique and very welcome and gave us time to talk to the mushers a while, who were very willing to share their experiences. We also had enough time to cuddle the Huskies.
The dogs are really well cared for, and I particularly enjoyed watching them in their element, the snowy cold, doing what they were bred for and what they love: running and pulling! It was a strong experience, and I admire these beautiful animals, their strength and their endurance.
I am really thankful for this unique and wonderful experience! read less

Everything has been very well organized and done in a way to make us discover this beautiful place and kind of life. They picked up us in the city center of Kiruna and in less 30min we were totally ready to start this adventure. The tour is very well thought to be deep in the Laponie that you can imagine on a 6 dogs-sled, driving your own sled on iced lakes, in the middle of pin tree forest and in wild nature. With chance, we saw some reindeers close to the track! All the team is very well prepared, the material is adapted and the guide responds to all our questions and was very flexible. After 30 min ride, we have changed driver/passenger and continued the tour. Finally, after 18km, we came back. Then we had time to be closer to the dogs and to the entire kettel. It had just snowed so the landscape was stunning. The staff was fantastic and you could tell the dogs were very well taken care of. The ride itself was so much fun - it was so cool to be able to drive your own team! I’m not even much of a dog person (allergies) but I felt completely in love with our team of five dogs (also didn’t feel allergic at all!) They’re super friendly and playful, and it was great to also get to help feed them and put them away in their kennels at the end. One thing I’d say is be sure to dress warm! It wasn’t even a particularly cold day when we went but the 2h ride was perfect - any more and I’d have been too cold (even though I was wearing full ski gear underneath the overalls they gave us!) All in all a fantastic experience - you’ll regret it if you don’t go!! read less

The people and dogs were all fantastic, and I don't think you can find any better surroundings for day trips. The winter landscape shifted from narrow passages through forest and open expansions across lakes, disturbed only by our own tracks and wildlife. We were lucky enough to have clear skies and got to see a spectacular light show as aurora borealis graced us with her presence. We've already started planning for our return next year. read less
