Meet the family ♥♥♥
Our Family
Kent
The Alpha of our family! He Loves the outdoors! His extensive knowledge of the wild, the dogs and trails make him the Alpha of our kennel and our family (sort of :p). Kent loves to go out with his team of racing dogs, especially to test out his 23 years of knowledge of breeding dogs. All about the outdoor life-style, hunting, fishing, hiking and enjoying a cup of cooked coffee over the open fire. Fantastic carpenter that has built all the buildings you see around you when you come and visit us! From the dog yards, dog houses to the dressing room and some of our sleds, to our magnificent family home. He also built our wilderness lodge for overnight tours; made with attention to detail, lots of care, and love.
Jack, Luke & Scottie
Our three muppets are central to our family company. Jack started sledding whilst in mummy’s tummy! Both Jack &Luke learned to sled before they could walk very well...so if you need any tips on how to drive your own team of dogs; they will gladly share their secret tips on how to brake and hold on. Scottie is the newest edition to our family, but still only a few months old. He has already been training dogs with mummy. They love entertaining guests, "helping" with collecting harnesses, and eating cinnamon rolls by the fire! Each of them will be able to tell you the name of each dog. They are also great fishermen!! So they will tell you all about that too....
Jordana
The 'real' alpha of our family 😛 Works with the bookings, guest relations, training the guides, dog training, dog trips and the website. Loves the outdoors, a great red wine or a cocktail or two. Having travelled and worked as a tour leader in various countries across the globe such as Turkey, Sicily and Norway to name a few, she believes that one of the most important things in life is.... FOOD! Always feel free to bring Parmiggiano, French and Swiss cheeses, a bottle of baileys, a good red wine cookies.... Asian Fruits... the list goes on! :p She is a certified Reiki Master (also for animals) and works with healing as well as shamanism. In her free time she makes Sami handicrafts (pewter bracelets) and other creative thingies 🙂
so.. who are we?
A little about us: we (just the two of us) started up our company in 2007! Working mostly as freelancers at various kennels and at Icehotel. After we started our company it was just the two of us that made up our family. But now with three boys our family has expanded a little! Our kids very much participate in our adventurous lifestyle. Hence our motto has never changed! Our family's motto is to share our outdoor lifestyle and our passion for the dogs with people from all walks of life. With our heart and soul at the center of everything that we do, we are able to provide our guests with memories that last a lifetime.
¨Let the beauty of what we love, be the beauty of what we do"
Both of us are equipped with extensive experience within the tourism industry and outdoor life and we want to share the best possible adventure with you.
Since we both have worked for most of the larger dogsledding companies in Kiruna and Icehotel area we know what they offer. And we think we can do better! Moreover we believe in quality, small scale tours and personal relations.
Our family knows each of our dogs by their name and personality. Additionally we like wilderness not mass tourism. On our tours you get to enjoy the varied landscape and wilderness as it should be...without other tourist companies or tourism traffic.
