They are really so close to Kiruna center, their base and route is amazing, during dog sledding you pass through arctic forest and you feel real arctic scene as in the movies!
Their international team is so good and professional, they have almost 100 dogs that you fall in love with taking pictures with many of them!
Even after tour you have hot drinks in cabin with fire , you feed the dogs...

We had booked an overnight sled tour, but unfortunately there was not enough snow in Kiruna in November (for the first time in human memory). Jordana was quick to reach out to us to make an alternative plan, excellent communication and flexibility. We rebooked to an overnight cart tour, which was great too! We stayed in the teepee at the kennel, and slept underneath reindeer skins (which will keep you super warm no matter the conditions).

What made this trip amazing for us wasn't just the tour, but also the hospitality and the interaction with the dogs. Anna was lovely to hang out with and a great guide to boot. You could also really tell that the people in the company really cared about their dogs, knowing every animal's name, character and quirks and taking very good care of them. They encouraged you to meet and bond with them as well. Meeting two week old pups at the end of our trip was the icing on the cake :) read less

The guides Ben who picked us up on time & drove us out to where the adventure began was lovely and Lisa who took us out with the dogs were charming & genuine.
After being suited & booted it was off to meet the dogs, from there on in such an experience to remember. Highly recommend this company, an amazing day that I can’t forget. A huge thank you to all involved. read less

Emozionante giro con la slitta in un ambiente incontaminato Sebbene avessimo prenotato un "Sit & Drive Combo Tour" e dato che eravamo 2 adulti e 2 bambini, ci sono... read moreSebbene avessimo prenotato un "Sit & Drive Combo Tour" e dato che eravamo 2 adulti e 2 bambini, ci sono state fornite 2 slitte in cui entrambi gli adulti guidavano per seguire la slitta della guida.
Abbiamo fatto circa 18km di percorso in 1ora e mezza in un ambiente ovattato e lontano da tutto ma non sono previste soste per foto per immortalare il momento.
Alla fine abbiamo dato da mangiare ai cani, li abbiamo slegati e accompagnati nei loro recinti. Abbiamo fatto una merenda con dolcetti e bevande calde davanti al fuoco.
Abbiamo avuto la possibilità di giocare con i cuccioli di cane.
Siamo stati lì tra Natale e Capodanno e in totale abbiamo speso circa 500€ in 4 ma tutta la Lapponia ha prezzi elevati. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, l'esperienza merita e lo consigliamo, soprattutto a famiglie con bambini. read less

The dogs, the nature and the staff contributed to make this one of the best days ever! Jordana was so helpful throughout the booking process and arranged a transfer for us from Kiruna and back. Our guide, Lisa, was very friendly and knowledgable and really set us at ease for driving the sled ourselves. It was not scary at all and I would recommend everyone to do the Combo tour. It was so much fun and so cool to steer the sled ourselves. We also helped harness the dogs beforehand, feed them and Lisa also took the time to do a kennel tour with us. The dogs are so cute and well trained. Don't give this a miss when visiting Lapland! read less

(een trip met een cart met wielen) Dus wij waren heel erg blij om in de zomer dit te kunnen doen. Ging heel snel en honden zijn heel erg sterk. De honden zijn zo lief en je kan zien dat ze gelukkig zijn. De mensen hier zorgen heel goed voor de honden. De hokken zijn schoon en de honden zien er goed verzorgd uit en heel blij! No matter if you want to mush “drive” your own sled or you want to sit back and ride you will have “The Ride of your life”. I first decided on this dogsledding tour... read moreFrom start to finish, Husky Tours Lapland was a pleasure to deal with. I first decided on this dogsledding tour operator because they were the only company that was open to having our 1 year old and 3 year old on the sled! They really embrace the whole family and focused on the children throughout the tour. We chose the “Sit back and Relax morning tour”. We were picked up on time (actually the driver was there early!) and he was a very friendly guy from France. When we arrived at the kennels, we were greeted by Jordana (owner) and Ellie (employee from the UK). Jordana and Ellie were extremely friendly and immediately focused on the kids as I mentioned earlier. They helped us into additional warmer clothing and changed our boots and mitts to something a bit warmer. We then headed out to meet the dogs and Kent (owner). Again, Kent was super friendly and helped with getting the kids on the sled. The ride was pleasant and cold (a balmy -19). The surroundings were beautiful as all the trees were covered in snow and it was quiet. Kent talked about the dogs and about the dogsled racing that he participates in. After about 20 minutes we stopped for coffee/ apple cider and some of Jordana’s home-baked sourdough blueberry squares which my kids devoured! We had lovely conversations and even met a fellow Canadian who had just started working for Jordana and Kent. After warming up by the fire, we hoped back on the sled and headed back to the kennels. The kennels are very well done and cared for; the dogs were immediately fed and attended to. It is clear that the 80 dogs are part of the family! We met the newest members of their family as Kent provided us explanations for each of their names. Our kids loved cuddling these puppy huskies and getting kisses. We were all sad to say goodbye but it was an amazing adventure and recommend it thoroughly to everyone (including families with young chi read less

We chanced on Husky Tours Lapland and chose it because it was affordable and had competitive pricing. We got picked up at the Tourist Centre, Lisa helped us dress up in a warm coverall and Addy/Aggy(?) was our guide. Everyone was super SUPER friendly. It didn’t feel like a tour or anything distant like that. Felt like we were hanging out with some friends who were very patiently teaching us how to handle the dogs. During the ride we were lucky to get to see a moose! We loved that we even got to feed the huskies after our ride and got to learn how to unharness them. I would also like to say that I really really loved Reina (one of the huskies on our team). She’s an absolute sweetheart. Throughout the run, she kept turning her head back to check on us. You could tell she loved running because after the run, when she was put back into her doghouse, she stood by the door and looked at us forlornly. I truly will miss her!! After the tour, our guide even gave us a tour of the kennel and we got to meet and play with the newborn puppies!! Would thoroughly recommend this tour!!
